Because your inner critic is an asshole and a liar and deserves no space in your thoughts you need to arm yourself with ways to overcome this voice in your head. A number of the meetings you will have for business development will take place over breakfast, lunch, or dinner. So naturally, you will be eating during these meetings. Please, pretty please do not make your meeting a Mukbang video for the other person at the table.

Networking is an Infinite Game
Last year I was lucky enough to hear Simon Sinek speak about his latest book, The Infinite Game. With this global pandemic we are dealing with a different sort of infinite game, we don’t know when or if this will end, how things will look in 6 months, a year, or beyond, but what I do know is that through all of this having a network, and investing in your relationships during this time is one of the most important things you can do.
Be Kind!
Being kind doesn’t mean you are a pushover, and nice guys don’t finish last. In this overstressed world being kind can be a superpower. So if you have the choice between being a dick and being kind, always be kind. Check out the video for more thoughts on this!
